And it shows that the product is different from other similar products. The example given by the professor involves the advertisement of the car. This expresses that the users can get the excellent gas mileage and how economical the car is. And second one is indirect one. It uses association to convince people to buy their products. For example, the same advertisement of a car , but it express the people smiling while they drive in a car.
